How to set up a DHCP client ?

An interface can be configured to use DHCP if you create two empty files
/etc/hostname. and /etc/dhcp.. Solaris software waits 30
seconds for a DHCP server to answer. This can be modified in
/etc/dhcp.: WAIT .
